New Transcription Book!
John is happy to announce the release of a book of transcriptions of the 13 original compositions, and 2 traditional tunes, featured on his most recent recording “New Time and Old Acoustic.”
This book is a companion to the recording released in 2021. Players have already begun learning these tunes and this book is intended to make the process easier and more accessible for people interested in the music. It includes all of the melodies, and most of the mandolin solos in standard music notation and tablature. Transcriptions by David Benedict.
